The plan for the CSB Men’s Turf Competition is for the season to commence on Saturday, 14th November, but this is subject to Government easing of COVID-19 restrictions. Cricket Victoria has advised that they are representing the interests of all cricket competitions as we head toward that possibility.

Fixtures will be released soon. We will advise when this is available on CSB’s Team App and on Facebook. Details of fixtures will then be entered on the CSB website. Players can contact their Clubs on this and any matter such as training restrictions – and also importantly, how the use of Club facilities, equipment and each match will be expected to operate on game days under Government COVID-19 health restrictions.

The CSB Board is currently in discussion with Cricket Victoria regarding filling the role that was undertaken by Darren Anderson.

Darren is still with Cricket Victoria but in a different capacity.

The Men’s Turf Competition Advisory Group (CAG) would like to again thank Darren for all his work whilst in his CSB roles. As such, the Men’s CAG is working to transition and manage the many procedural matters and processes that need to be in operation before the season commences. A small group of volunteers headed by Board member Paul Glew is doing this.

We all need to support each together this season with respect and to show patience as we work through changes, on the field and off. Players, umpires, supporters, parents, Club officials, volunteers.
